Manifesto
We believe our imperfections are what make us truly unique and special.
Just like us, every cookie is one-of-a-kind. Some rise tall, some stay a little low. Some come out crispy, others soft — all from the very same batch!
That’s because our recipe is homemade, with zero of those mystery ingredients you can’t even pronounce.
We use real, honest ingredients — which means our cookies come out delightfully imperfect, just the way we like them.
We celebrate the real stuff, because the real stuff? It’s simply delicious. 🙂
Our Story
At 24, Sofia launched Funky Chunky as a personal challenge — testing her branding skills from her advertising days. When the pandemic hit, her love for cookies took over, leading to over 200 recipe tests in search of the perfect one.
That passion turned into Portugal’s first cookie shop, proudly imperfect and full of character!
Today, Funky Chunky has four stores and growing ambitions. In 2025, Sofia was named to Forbes Under 30 in gastronomy, the only person in her category that year.
And this is just the beginning!
